Hiking / Climbing
Climb the Egerskantten from the lake side. Miles wide view over Lelång and a bit into Norway. Map and description can be found in the link below. From the lake you have to find your own way up and sometimes the terrain is steep.

Pick freely in surrounding forests. The season begins a few weeks after midsummer with blueberries and summer chanterelles.

Dark Safari
Do as Tarek Taylor in Nordic cokery! Join us for a different and unforgettable experience!
We start with a basic course on the paddle board where we practice safety and paddle technique. When we are safe on the board, we wait in the dark and then paddle out with headlamps and drysuits. Now is the chance to get really close to nature and if we are lucky we get to see both fish and beavers up close. The feeling of being able to paddle a meter from the beaver or pike is magical!

Lock
The easiest way is to lock only the boat without the house. If you want to lock with the house, it is also possible and then we recommend locking in Gustavsfors up to Västra silen. If you want to continue, it's fine in Krokfors and come to Östra Silen. For a lock with a cabin, one week is needed. There are some preparations with the cottage that we help with for a fee. Lock fee is paid on site, in cash or by swish.

Ivanssons Bilskrot, se nedan
A little beyond a 30-minute journey is the Ivansson brothers' former car scrap yard. A lot of older cars left to the teeth of time and nature. Well worth a visit for car, nature and culture enthusiasts.
Can also be reached by boat from Lake Foxen. The easiest way is to lock only the boat in Lennartsfors to Lake Foxen and then drive the boat to Båstnäs pier, it takes about 20 minutes. From there it is about 1km to walk to the scrap yard.
